dj kev chaos
Our lead producer is our very own DJ_Kev_Chaos. He is the founder of the music program at The Inmate Connection. His work mostly includes hip hop, R&B and soul music. I produce beats, remixes, and mix & master tracks. All of the songs created are professionally engineered and mastered. Music has been a hobby and passion of Kev’s since childhood. He got lost in the lifestyle young as a DJ, and was incarcerated for 10 years from 2006-2016. While he was locked up, Kev continued to write music and poems. He also read books on the music business and how to run a record label, engrossed myself himself with sheet music, music education, song lyrics, Music/DJ magazines, and anything else music related he could get his hands on. He day-dreamed of being a part of the music industry and creating a career doing what he loves - making music.
Kev was released from prison at the age of 28 and immediately started taking courses to learn, relearn, and master his craft. In 2016 I graduated from a DJ & Music Production Program taught by a variety of world renowned artists. Many of Kev’s songs were written in prison. Being able to recreate his songs with real instruments, the bass loop in my head, and adding melodies has been a passion I’ve turned into something more. .Book a consult with Kevin to connect and determine if your project is a good fit for our team!
