During my incarceration I have taken the time to educate and better myself as a person through self help groups, vocational training, like computer literacy, and college courses. Ultimately, obtaining (3) different degrees. Who would have ever thought, right? I know that I didn't, but never the less, here I am. Making the best out of my circumstances. By always finding the positive, or the good in the midst of all this ugliness, and always looking for opportunities to grow. Through self reflection and growth, I've come to realize and understand that my past choices in life don't define who I am as a man and as a human being. Change is possible, and I'm a true testament to that. On this journey, I've learned that just like in life, you get what you put in. So this is me doing that.
